The thrill of carving fresh untouched snow in the Siberian taiga.
Diverse terrain, abundant snowfall, unique nature, and breathtaking views of Lake Baikal!
Hamar-Daban is a mountain range located to the south of the lake, which receives the highest amount of precipitation in early winter. It offers diverse terrain with elevation changes ranging from 500m to 1000m, abundant snowfall, unique nature, and stunning views of Lake Baikal!
Riding zone: Drops of up to 2000m, alpine areas, and excellent forest riding.
Two groups of 4 people each, accompanied by a guide.
Helicopters: AS350 B3 or EC 130 T2.
Number of descents per day: 8 – 15 descents.
Our base is located in the village of Novosnezhnaya, on the lake shore, just a few minutes’ flight from the riding zone. It is a cozy, modern lodge built in 2017, with spacious rooms and magnificent mountain views.
Additional activities include:
- Riding at the Gora Sobolinaya ski resort. 3 lifts, 500m vertical drop.
- Snowmobiling in nearby mountain valleys.
- Ski-touring to Mamay with snowmobile transport.
- Excursions.
