Moto-Jeep tour in India is truly unique. This is a great trip with immersion into the world of an ancient Indian fairy tale.
Throughout the route you will find the oldest temples, monasteries and traditional villages, incredible passages and deserts, with breathtaking scenery around. During your trip you will visit both: the big and chaotic Delhi, and small settlements that are inaccessible for ordinary tourists.
You will spend the night in a small village Jispa at an altitude of 3,048 meters at the foot of the great Baralacha-La Pass.
Baralacha-La pass – you will enjoy the delightful view during the climbing, and during descending you will see a plain with azure river, surrounded by majestic mountains.
Lachlung-La pass (4968 meters) and the vast plain Mare, the deep salt lake Tso-Kar at an altitude of 4200 meters, where the camp for the overnight will be made.
Upper-Indian valley - where, if lucky, you can meet a herd of kiangs - beautiful wild Himalayan horses. And you could also meet Ladakhs (another name of this people is the Boths), a nomadic highland people living in the valley during the summer.
Leh city visit – it is located at an altitude of 3657 meters. In ancient times it was the capital of the state Ladakh. There is a huge 9-storey palace in the center of it. It is now abandoned, but still impressive. There are also a lot of other temples and monasteries and the old market.
The Khardung Pass is the world's tallest motorway, which, will allow to rise to the 2,438 meters altitude in less than 48 kilometers. The surface of the road is mixed - rubble, ruts and cobblestones, but the views across the mountains of Kangri and Zanskar are truly stunning.
At the end of the route - extreme rafting along the tributary of the Indus-Zanskar River, surrounded by sandy-yellow colour mountains.
