This year all heliskiers had the unique possibility to take part in Avalance control heliski courses. The program was headed by the shef-guide of the world-biggest Canadian heliski company and owner of Methven heliski company (New Zealand) Kevin Boekholt.

 5-13 of December all participants heliskied in the mountains and volcanoes of Kamchatka and also fundamentally improved thier heliski level due to theoretical course on avalanche control and practice on the slopes. Everyday trainings with snowmobiles, snowcats, helicopters, 3 heliski day programs, experience and knowledge of UIAGM guide (The Union Internationale des Associations de Guides de Montagnes is the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations, also known as IVBV and IFMGA), of a person who thoroughly knows mountains of New Zealand, Canada, Greenland, Japan and many other snow-covered places, all this gave everyone a possibility to pass on to the next level of helisiing.

it does not matter if you ride snowboard or skies, how many years you are in the process, if you are a beginners or can perfectly balance on the untouched snow, the only thing that matters is your wish to ride, understand mountains and feel safe there.
